GET TO KNOW ME
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individual therapy to adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the lasting impact of trauma and painful past experiences. I especially enjoy working with people who want to better understand themselves and the patterns that shape how they think, feel, and connect with others. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe meaningful therapy happens when you feel comfortable enough to be honest, curious, and fully yourself—not as though you have to say the “right” thing in the room.
I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin in 2014. Over the past twelve years, I have worked across multiple levels of mental health care, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, group treatment, and individual psychotherapy. Those experiences have given me a deep appreciation for how differently emotional distress can show up from person to person. Today, my heart is in individual therapy, where I have the opportunity to build genuine therapeutic relationships and help clients create changes that feel meaningful and sustainable in their everyday lives.
Originally from Upstate New York, I moved to Texas for graduate school and eventually made Central Texas home. I now live in Kyle with my husband, stepson, daughter, our cat Penelope, and our dog Lucy. Outside of the therapy room, I value family, connection, humor, and finding space to slow down and enjoy the ordinary parts of life.
